The Mayor’s Christmas tree in Crown Center, Kansas City, was the absolute perfect backdrop for Andy to propose to Jacque on this crisp, December day. They are the sweetest couple and I can’t believe how lucky I was to be the one who got to watch him pop the question and witness their first moments of joy as they look towards forever together! Since it’s usually the bride who finds me in her search for a wedding photographer after she is already engaged, it’s not often that I get to be there for the actual proposal… much less get invited to the engagement party!! What a treat!

I seriously had so much fun with these two in our short time at Crown Center and the Country Club Plaza where we snapped a few extra photos with the iconic Christmas lights before they went on to their dinner in that area (at Seasons 52 – Andy says the salmon is to die for!). This city is so full of life and it was such an honor to play such a fun role in this magical night for these two yesterday!
