The snow storm in Colorado today has me mind boggled that I just did this Spring family photo session in Bentonville! All the trees were starting to bloom and I was quite comfortable in my short-sleeved shirt. I will say, I like snow but Colorado winters are just so darn LONG! I’m thankful for the flowery trees here too since winter mostly just bleeds straight into summer where I’m from. 

The Duncan family sessions are always so special to me since I’ve had the great privilege of photographing them since their daughter Sloan was born 2.5 years ago. I did her newborn images, 1 year, 1.5 years etc. and have absolutely fallen in love with watching her grow up. Meghan and Austin are such amazing parents and, even though they are currently dealing with the “terrible twos,” they treat their daughter with love and patient guidance. I just know she is going to grow into the most stunning, amazing woman someday! 

I think Meghan’s hair is definitely worth mentioning too… I mean, COME ON. Who DOESN’T wish we could pull that off?!?!
