Spruce Mountain Lodge, Winter Colorado Wedding | Max & Jodi

Castle Rock Colorado Wedding Photographer
Winter wedding in Larkspur, Colorado

Jodi & Max chose Spruce Mountain Lodge, a warm, cozy, mountainy venue nestled in Larkspur, Colorado as the perfect place to say “I do” to the rest of their lives together. I had the absolute honor of traveling to Colorado to capture it!! We were so thrilled because they had a big snow storm about six days before the wedding so everything was beautifully covered in white, but the weather on that day was a gorgeous 50 degrees and sunny – couldn’t ask for better!

Max & Jodi met through their CrossFit gym at a speed dating event. Jodi said the proposal story was pretty simple. On April 1st, they were just talking while at their favorite place to relax: the SunWater Spa. Max could barely keep it in that he wanted to get married. So, after a walk in Manitou Springs to a small bridge that crosses over the stream running through town, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him! Later on, they realized that they were actually on Lover’s Lane!

These two sweet souls love going to watch movies together, eating a good dinner, or just cooking together. And now that they have moved to Germany, just exploring their new surroundings, traveling, and finding good local cuisine!

Scroll to the end for some shoutouts to the amazing vendors who helped make their big day so special!
