We got a perfectly sunny, warm day at Red Rocks Park & Amphitheater for this sweet maternity session last week! This one was extra special for me because I was really good friends with Ethan in high school and then I got to meet Rebecca and capture their wedding in Golden, Colorado in May of 2015!
Now this May, almost 5 years to the day, they’ll be welcoming their little guy into the world and let me tell you – these two are going to make the most incredible parents! They are both so kind and down to earth, it makes me so happy to know their little one will be growing up with such amazing role models as his caretakers.
I’m so grateful for friendships like this, especially just having moved back to Colorado – so fun that we live within a couple hours of each other now!!
I discovered this new-to-me spot at Red Rocks soon before Ethan and Rebecca arrived and I LOVE how one direction shows sun-kissed layers of mountains and hills in the background and as soon as we turned around, we had the warm red rocks which gave off a totally different feel. You guys know I love variety so I have no doubt I’ll be heading back to this spot again soon! For anyone wondering, we parked in the “Upper South Lot” and walked down about 8 minutes on the trail just across the road from that parking lot!
