While I’m based in Colorado Springs now, I lived in Kansas City for 6.5 years and that’s really where my photography journey took off. It can be slightly stressful with unpredictable weather, but I still love to do photo sessions for all of my past clients whenever I’m in town.
Early last month I got to go for a whole week and the Curtis family was one of the many amazing families and people I got to photograph during my time! We BARELY escaped some major rain, but ended up with the most perfect weather for this location since it’s always better when it’s cloudy than sunny (just due to the direction of the city backdrop as the sun sets to the side).
So grateful for wonderful people like this who have been so supportive over the years! It was so fun to capture this season for them with one of my very favorite views in the city!
