Classic Kansas City Engagement – Nelson Atkins, Plaza and Downtown | Phillip & Lauren

The Nelson Atkins Museum of Art, Country Club Plaza, and the Power & Light District (downtown) were the perfect backdrops for this quintessentially Kansas City engagement session. Lauren and Phillip love this city so much it was only fitting that we used some of the classics to show off their love for each other! So thankful for another sunny evening when the forecast said rain.

I actually know Lauren from high school in Colorado so it’s incredibly cool that we both live here in KC now and that she is trusting me with telling her love story 🙂 I can’t wait to watch these two tie the knot in November!! Shout out to Rent the Runway for her perfect, blue dress (I suggest that in my Engagement Style Guide as a good option to find fancier options than you may have in your closet to borrow for the occasion, and being able to make elegant images like these are exactly why.. so happy she took the advice!).
