I will have the pleasure of photographing Ryan and Jamie’s wedding this June at the Trezo Mare Restaurant and Lounge in Kansas City. Ryan has two wonderful kids, so their engagement session outside Union Station and Crown Center included them since they are such an important part of Jamie’s new family. How special is that?!? This was the evening of the day that the weather in KC dropped from like 70 degrees to snowy and 30 the next morning, so they braved the cold front moving in, along with the wind that accompanied it. I might have made them stand in the middle of the street at one point, but that view of downtown from Main street right next to Union Station is too perfect, I couldn’t resist! Washington Square Park just north of Crown Center also gave us some great variation from the city feel. I love how different the images can feel in this small, walkable area.
