This engagement photo session in Woodland Park, Colorado was extra special for me! I grew up right down the street from Isaac’s family and was practically siblings with his older brother, Tyler (whose engagements I actually get to do in a couple months too – eek!). There are 4 boys in their family and there were 4 of us kids in my family, all similar ages so we crossed paths quite a bit and they are seriously just THE BEST family!
I finally got to meet Whitney over a Zoom call a few weeks ago when she inquired about having me photograph their wedding. Apparently she had been following my work for several years but didn’t think to reach out until she saw one of my Facebook ads pop up since she had forgotten I moved back to Colorado (hurray for ads!).
Let’s just say we have more in common than our name. She is down-to-earth, adventurous, and a little goofy and we clicked incredibly well! These two were such champs at their engagement session considering we got rained on and they just treated it like a memorable adventure, not stressing about it at all!
I seriously get to work with the best people and cannot wait for their small, intimate wedding this August in Woodland Park!
