All week and all day the weather forecast for Kansas City kept changing. I would check it on several different weather apps and then two hours later they would all say something completely different. But I’ve learned not to trust the weather apps so Rachel, Jesus and I decided to go ahead with their engagement session anyway. Of course, if it had rained partway through we would have finished it another day, but thankfully the rain stayed away the entire hour and a half and the sun even peaked through the clouds a few times!

Rachel found me through a co-worker whose engagement session I did last month (see that here). I’m so thankful this wonderful couple decided to let me capture this new season in their lives. They were so nice, joyful, and down-to-earth… exactly the kind of couple I adore working with!

We caught the last few roses at Loose Park Rose Garden before the ones around the outer path are gone for awhile and then we finished in the Westbottoms for a totally different, urban feel.
