Jodi had just gotten engaged the week before she scheduled her Discovery Call with me. Turns out she was visiting her dream venue the next day but was already pretty sure she wanted to do it. We talked for almost 40 minutes and could just tell that we clicked super well, which is such an important thing when it comes to a bride/wedding photographer relationship. Since I was going to be in Colorado Springs for a few other photo sessions one short week from when we talked, we set up their engagement session and they booked me for their wedding in Castle Rock this December! This girl already has her caterer too, I’m telling you… she’s on top of it!!

Jodi & Max met at Crossfit and there is no doubt they are super in love. What a treat it was to get to use Garden of the Gods and the backdrop of Pikes Peak for their session! This spot is a short walk/hike up from Balanced Rock. We actually got lucky with a somewhat cloudy day so we could see the mountain so well behind them! Not only is this place beautiful in general, it’s also special to these two since they live so close to it and love the outdoors.
