Kansas City Winter Engagement Session | Ellen & Nick

Well folks, we barely caught the Country Club Plaza one last time before the iconic Christmas lights are turned off for the year… and I’m so happy we did! This fun-loving couple heard about me from a family member of Nick’s who was at a wedding I had the pleasure of shooting. I met Ellen at a coffee shop late last year and we knew immediately that we would get along super well. She is down to earth and so enthusiastic about life, travel, and PHOTOS! She told me right away that choosing the right photographer was extremely important to her for her big day and I’m so thankful that she chose me <3

The plaza was the perfect ending to their engagement session, but we started over at Loose Park. While it’s missing the beautiful fountains, greenery, and roses in the garden, this time of year is kind of awesome at Loose because not NEARLY as many other photographers are there with their clients 😉 We practically had the whole place to ourselves on a Sunday evening besides some runners and walkers taking advantage of the weather that was a little nicer that day (just our luck!).

Nick and Ellen will tie the knot this September and I can’t wait to capture the memories of their big day!
