Troy and Brittany were an absolute joy to photograph in downtown Kansas City last week. Sometimes I feel like I overuse locations and, while others might not notice, I get a bit bored with them. Liberty Memorial was a new location for me and I absolutely loved it! I think I could get several more shoots here without getting bored because you have the city view in the background, the stairs/simple stone, as well as greenery that you can incorporate in or use by itself. The sun also sets right behind the trees on the East side (obviously) and makes the PERFECT spot for my favorite, backlit sunlight bokeh that I hope is becoming one of my signature looks! This couples shoot was super fun and they were so sweet. I love when my clients are actually interested in my life beyond my photos because it makes it easier to be interested in their lives, which I love! Photography is about more than just making money…it’s about creating relationships and being a part of something bigger than ourselves. Enjoy 🙂
