Mission 15 | A Church of the Nazarene Event

Sorry I’ve been MIA for a bit…I’ve been working at a conference downtown Kansas City for the past week (yes I have a full-time job outside of photography – more on this later).

Lucky for me I was able to take a few photos as part of my job this time! As stated on their website, Mission conference events have been held every four years since 1999, and they are the largest (Nazarene) all-church gatherings in the United States and Canada between general assemblies.  The theme this year was Honoring the Past, Shaping the Future to celebrate the faithfulness of God to those who went before us and learn together how those stories can shape our future as a church.  It was a “conference held to encourage, motivate, train, and inspire our church to action for the mission field in which we live.

Here are some photos from one of the plenary sessions where everyone was gathered in one room for worship!
