The Pavilion Event Space Kansas City Summer Wedding | Cole & Gloria
While Colorado Springs still has my heart, I would be lying if I told you I wasn’t completely in love with The Pavilion Event space in Kansas City. When I asked Gloria what she envisioned when she thought about her wedding day, she said elegant and classic… and I can tell you firsthand that despite all odds with ever-changing and challenging circumstances in the world during this season, she planned a day that turned out to be those very things!

While they had known each other since high school, Cole & Gloria didn’t start dating until the end of their college years. Some of her favorite things about Cole are how he was raised and how he treats her and some of his favorite things about Gloria are her heart and generosity towards others!
Gloria describes Cole as stubborn, but in a good way! He knows what he wants and how he’s going to achieve it. He’s so kind and patient with his students and has a heart of gold! Cole describes Gloria as kind-hearted, smart, gentle, quirky, goofy, and happy!
While we had video chatted a couple times before the wedding day, this was actually the first time I got to meet these two in person due to not doing an engagement session, COVID-19, and me moving to Colorado earlier this year. But they both have such warm and welcoming personalities that it felt like we had known each other for much longer!
When they went for a getaway to San Lucas, Cole proposed at a private beach dinner at sunset! Gloria said she would have been disappointed if it didn’t happen on that trip, so it was perfect that he made it happen! Cole’s attention to detail and effort to make things special for those he cares about was so evident to me, even in the way he surprised Gloria and the bridesmaids with extra flowers just to take home, and surprised Gloria, her mom, and his mom with meaningful letters and gifts when they arrived at the venue!!
