Welcome to the studio, KINDLE!

While I adore capturing my clients anywhere and everywhere that makes sense for their sessions, having an easy, indoor option with lots of natural light and variety has been such a game-changer. This 1400sqft studio in downtown Colorado Springs is included with every session with me, so there are no additional fees like there often are elsewhere.

However, please keep in mind that I do also rent it out to other photographers (hence the separate business name), so be sure to let me know if you’d like to use it when we’re planning our date so I can make sure we find a time that it’s available.

Unique sets for different holidays and seasons

SETS

host your own event up to 30 people

SMALL EVENTS

  • Brick wall (muted, not too red)
  • Movable wall (changes colors quarterly - ask what it will be at the time of your session!)
  • Slat wall (sides change colors every once in awhile)
  • White walls
  • Seamless paper backdrops (white, black, and light gray, as well as a small tan one for headshots)

  • I’ll help you mix and match the furniture with the background options to create the perfect look for you and your brand or family! Some of the options available include:
  • Queen bed (looks great without a headboard on the brick or white walls, but I also have a gray suede headboard)
  • Camel brown leather couch
  • White couch
  • Tan loveseat
  • Black loveseat
  • Full size + kid size egg chairs
  • Muted pink arm chair
  • Charcoal arm chair
  • Desk + white desk chair
  • Moses basket bassinet
  • Tiny toddler or plant stool
  • Tiny, white stairstep

  • Leather + black stool
  • Various plants (all real)
  • Wicker footstools
  • Lots of boho items like dried pampas, palm leaves, and macrame (which I happen to make!)

Lifestyle Areas

3-4 times per year, we put together an epic set around holidays or just for fun. Whenever there is a set up, almost all of our regular furniture and background options are still available in the other room. Always be sure to ask ahead of time if there is something super specific you know you’re wanting, to make sure it will be available.

Sets are so fun because they keep the space feeling fresh and new and we often end up keeping pieces from them to add to our collection of options. I always do sets around Valentine’s Day (mostly for the boudoir photographers who utilize the space), Mother’s Day, and Christmas (all of November and December), and have other fun touches in between. 

For my brand clients… sets can be a really unique way to stand out online or even do things like send a super intentional holiday card to your clients. If you book during a timeframe with a set, we can get lots of variety in the other room, but also utilize the set to help you plan content around specific seasons and holidays that everyone can relate to!

Sets

I also rent this space out for (very) small events and we have all the event chairs, tables, cocktail tables, and AV to bring your vision to life! Capacity is 30 people. We’ve hosted baby and bridal showers, client appreciation events, workshops, surprise parties, and even a couple of micro weddings… the sky is the limit!
