Kansas City Loose Park & The Liberty Memorial Fall Engagement Session | Sierra & Alex

Being a photographer in Kansas City means that I spend a lot of time at Loose Park. For some people it’s lost it’s charm because it’s used so much, but not me! I love that it’s large enough (1.5 miles around) that there is a TON of variety in a small area… between the rose garden with stonework, the pond with bridges, and all the different types of trees throughout the rest of it, we are able to get a wide variety in images before we even get to our second location for sessions that use one! I also love that no matter how busy it is (and let me tell you.. it gets BUSY on fall weekend evenings especially), there is always enough space to get great images without people in the background! Or at least far enough away to blur the people out so they are easy to edit out later 😉

We went to another of my favorite locations, the Liberty Memorial for the second spot which gave us the perfect balance of nature and city!

Sierra and Alex are so sweet and so obviously in love. It was so fun that they brought a little sign she hand-painted and a quilt that his grandma made! Personal touches are such a fun part of engagement sessions. I couldn’t be happier for these two and I’m pumped to start seeing these fall colors come out in my clients’ outfits this time of year!
