Grand Hall at Power & Light Kansas City + Loose Park Engagement Photos | Landen & Rachel

This Kansas City Engagement session was another one for the books! I’ll be honest that even the morning of the shoot, we weren’t sure where we were going to do it. It was a super cold, dreary day and Landen and Rachel initially wanted to use Union Station since they have some really special memories from there, but unfortunately there was some event going on that had the whole main hall blocked off.

Thankfully, the Grand Hall at Power & Light came in clutch when I asked them if we might be able to use their space and they kindly obliged!! I was so pumped to get to shoot there again (both in the event space and the bar/rooftop area upstairs) since it’s one of the most beautiful spaces I’ve ever seen in Kansas City!!

We finished up at Loose Park to catch the last of the fall colors and the roses before everything dies for winter. Turns out, the way to shoot at Loose is on a super gloomy, 35 degree, Tuesday evening barely before sunset because no one else is out there for once 😉

So happy for these two and seriously can’t wait for their 2020 wedding!
