A 2-hour deep-dive into equipment, settings, and setups for different scenarios, including how to utilize KINDLE's studio strobes.

1.5 hours of dedicated time to work through questions, practice with your equipment, or get help researching what to order if you don't have gear yet.

Presentation Slides

Take home all of the slides from the presentation so you can refer back to them when you get stuck or need a refresher.

Meet Kira

Kira is the owner of KINDLE Photo Studio & Event Space and lead photographer at Kira Whitney Photography. With 15+ years of experience shooting in every lighting condition imaginable, she's passionate about helping other photographers break through the intimidation of flash and unlock a new level of creativity and confidence in their work.

This workshop is taught in a hands-on, no-judgment setting designed to make you feel supported as you learn. Whether you've never touched a speedlight or you've been meaning to learn for years, Kira will meet you right where you are.

Not at all! If you don't have equipment yet, part of the workshop includes time to research what to order based on your budget and needs. You'll also have access to KINDLE's studio strobes during the hands-on portion.

This is a beginner-level workshop designed for photographers who are new to external flash. Whether you've never used a speedlight or just need a solid foundation, this is the right fit for you.

The Workshop Only ($150) covers the full training and Q&A. Hands-On Only ($100) is the practical practice session. The combined Workshop + Hands-On ($235) gives you both for the complete experience and is the best value.

This is intentionally kept small so you get personalized attention and the opportunity to build genuine relationships with other local photographers.

Bring your camera, any flash equipment you own (if applicable), and a notebook. The presentation slides will be shared with you after the workshop for reference.
