Session Location: Chesapeake Boathouse + Downtown OKC (walking distance from Clarity Coffee)

What a joy it was to be able to catch up with this sweet couple after 3.5 years since we were friends in college! I had never photographed a double couple’s session like this, but since the two couples are such good friends and I was only in OKC for a very short weekend trip, it worked out perfectly! It was such a blast that I would totally use this format again if anyone was interested and had people that they were close enough to for it to work well! We were definitely careful to plan extra time since it took quite a bit longer to get plenty of images for each of them. See the other couple, Mandy & Blake’s full session HERE. 

It’s amazing how transformed images are when outfits are planned with purpose. Nick and Jennie were so kind as to let me help them plan what they wore and dang… they pulled off such an elegant look! Guys are typically hesitant to wear something besides jeans, but this is proof that even comfortable colored pants with a button up shirt can really make an impact on the overall images. Not to mention how dapper… dare I say FLY Nick looked in his gray suit!! Combined with Jennie’s little black dress, it was the perfect pair for ending our session with a bang on the rooftop at sunset. 

Shout out to Nick and Jennie for being such troopers as we shot for over two hours! I can’t tell you how wonderful it was to see you both and get to catch up a little 🙂
