What a beautiful, perfect wedding day these two had last weekend! I was so honored to play such a special role in their big day and it truly was a blast. Bla and Brian met at work and started to become interested in each other, but knew they couldn’t do anything about it at that point. When Brian decided to leave the company, Bla stepped out of her comfort zone and asked him out (yeah girl!). It’s so obvious that they care so much for each other and I can’t believe I was blessed enough to get to capture this special day for them as they begin their journey into marriage!

I’ve been using the bride’s dress as a backdrop for accessories and detail shots, but this time I switched it up and used one of the bridesmaid dresses instead. Such a fun trick to tie them in to the other photos!

Town Square Paola was the perfect venue for them and really saved the day since they were going to have an outdoor ceremony but it poured. Their indoor ceremony space is upstairs above the reception hall and we got to watch the raindrops out the window behind the bridal party while we enjoyed a dry, beautiful ceremony 🙂 Thankfully we had gotten outside for the bridal party and the couple’s portraits earlier that day!

I had been dreaming about shooting a wedding with geometric shapes and terrarium centerpieces for awhile and Bla totally made that dream come true for me last weekend!! Aren’t they gorgeous?!?
