Awhile ago my husband suggested that I buy a ticket to go spend a weekend with my roommate and best friend from college. He won major hubby points for that and this Labor Day weekend I got to go! My friend Lauree from college also happened to visit Emily in Phoenix the same weekend so we made it a girls weekend and had a blast! I’m so thankful for friends who are adventurous like me. We certainly spent our fair share of time by the pool, but our day trip to go hiking in Sedona was one of my favorite parts! There is something so special about exploring somewhere new, especially with such good people.

Not a bad lunch view if I do say so myself! I’d definitely suggest Sedona if you are ever in Arizona…. except maybe not on a holiday weekend because the traffic was so crazy!
