This Kansas City wedding was extra special for me to get to capture because Andra and Brent both went to seminary with my husband! These two are so kind and fun-loving; it was so wonderful to get to participate in this celebration of their love!

Loved this early summer wedding at the Beck Event Space in Harrisonville, Kansas!! I’ve been friends with Julie for a couple years now and let me tell you… she is a GEM. Her kind demeanor and adventurous spirit are inspiring and I feel like we understand each other so well as fellow Enneagram 7s! I knew it would take someone special to win her heart and I couldn’t be happier that she found Alix – who is equally as kind and caring!

This was such a stunning wedding! The girls got ready at the Grand Hall at Power & Light (also where Brendan proposed) and the guys got ready at the Hilton President. We took some photos at the Liberty Memorial overlooking the Kansas City skyline before heading to Lees Summit for their ceremony and reception at the Libby Lane Event Center.

All week it said it would rain all day on Sunday and then BOOM, not a drop all day! I was so thankful since this wedding was completely outdoors at the Rus-T Barn venue in Bonner Springs, Kansas (with a big, beautiful tent for the reception). Zach and Bailey met in college. He had gone for football and she played volleyball. They met early on in the fall, began dating by Thanksgiving, and the rest is history!

A beautifully simple Spring wedding at Pierponts in Kansas City Union Station. A sunny, 70 degree day was the cherry on top to an already joyful occasion as Alli & Jill said “I do.”

Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs, Colorado were the perfect backdrops for this elegant, wintery, mauve styled shoot. I had always wondered what Manitou would look like from the road leading up to Cave of the Winds, and it was every bit as good as I had hoped!
